Tire Compound

The next compound a pitting driver takes, as probabilities.

How it works

A five-class classifier over soft / medium / hard / intermediate / wet, scored for drivers approaching a pit window (gated on pit probability). Wet-weather classes are deliberately high-recall; a dry-race gate keeps dry compounds on top when it isn't raining.
